Centurion Run 2025
The Centurion Run has been conducted for 26 years. Its name is from the combined age of the bike and rider. A rider who is 55 years old on a 45 year old bike is considered a centurion. However all bikes and riders are welcome irrespective of the combined age.
The run featured two routes, one for the older bikes and riders who preferred a shorter, flatter course (short run) and one for those riders who were a little more adventurous and didn’t mind a longer course over a little hillier terrain. (long run).
A very special moment this year was the attendance of four club members (pictured) with a bike and rider age combination of 200 years plus making this event the first ‘double centurion’ run! This is a truly remarkable achievement for these members who were each presented with a special ‘200 year certificate’ to a very warm reception from all those attending on the day.
