Gympie area Gold Miners’ Rally, 2025
The Gold Miners’ Rally held in early October, at Imbil. The 11 attendees enjoyed 180 kms. of black top on the Sunday with a field stop at the halfway point of hot beverage and a huge selection of pastries. Saturday, the day of arrival for most, offered short rides around the area with a visit to Borumba Dam. The top prize going to the oldest rider on his girder fork, keeping abreast with the newer machines but managing to run out of fuel two thirds from base. A prize for the furthest travelled went to a Northern Rivers rider, he rode up and back with his swag.
