Management committee election process

Each such nominee must be a financial member and must, if not self-nominated, consent to the nomination for that nominee to become a candidate.

Written nominations may be submitted by email. Nominations must be signed by the candidate and be provided to the club secretary at least 7 days prior to the AGM.

Nominations must be endorsed by the proposed member’s area by ordinary resolution at an area meeting*, and must be submitted to the club secretary by 20 April 2026.

While the club constitution stipulates that the area endorsement is to be obtained at an annual area meeting, due to the late date of the AGM this year, the management committee has decided that the area endorsement can be obtained at a normal area meeting.

The management committee will assess life membership applications against the criteria prior to them being put to the vote at the AGM and may reject any nomination in its absolute discretion.

Club Champion

The 2026 Club Champion award will be presented at the AGM. This award is intended to go to a club member who has excelled in his or her

contribution to the club during the year prior to the AGM. Areas are asked to submit nominations for club champion to the club secretary, along

with supporting reasons for that nomination, by 20 April 2026.
